I have a degree in Fine Arts and an MBA in Marketing and Information Management. Over the past 5 years, I have developed my product marketing and leadership skills. I am particularly passionate about marrying customer needs with product solutions.
I have experience with positioning, messaging, developing personas, launching new marketing channels, conducting product-market fit analyses, launching new products, go-to-market strategy, and pricing and packaging. Outside of my product marketing discipline, I enjoy developing new processes and improving business activities where needed, such as implementing all-new sales enablement support.
I have worked in the non-profit sector and at large public corporations, focusing on B2B and B2C target audiences. I have a background in strategic and launch-based product marketing, releasing feature updates
and all-new products (hardware and SaaS).
As part of our partnership with Yelp for the launch of a new product, Digital Marketing, GoDaddy participated in Yelp's small business-focused podcast: Behind the Review, going live on August 9th, 2024. I wrote the script which can be found here.
Conducted a secret shop of two competitors and a positioning workshop internally to determine our strongest product-market fit. Then, developed new messaging that went through a thorough testing process. Worked with the web team to create an all-new webpage with new messaging for Website Design Services, as well as with the integrated marketing team to create a complementary explainer video. Lead project manager for a brand refresh at Western Digital as Product Marketer. Required working cross-functionally and internationally with integrated marketing to develop the new designs, then introduce to several teams' decision makers, and subsequently updating all product packaging, labeling, and online and printed marketing material to reflect the new brand, coaching all cross-functional teams and vendors to use the new branding materials. Highly complex project that required a strong attention to detail, persuasive presentation skills, and cross-functional management. Go here to view the portfolio of re-branded products.
Created new messaging for the WD Green SN350 NVMe, an all-new product that introduced NVMe technology into the WD Green product line. Go here to view the webpage.
Created the business plan, messaging, branded palette, vector-drawn logo, and website design for Büfin & Borke Marketing Consultancy.
Penned three newsletters for various audiences as Manager, Communications at Teach For America.
Shot and edited an end-of-year celebration as Manager, Communications at Teach For America. Go here for the short version.
Created and project managed a social media competition to celebrate a product launch, working with integrated marketing to design the featured images and with legal to determine the rules of the giveaway. Crafted the copy personally. Go here to have a look.
